General Rules for Members of Smoky Valley Archers
1. Membership privileges run each year from February 1 to January 31
2. Range is open to members 7 days a week from ½ hour after sunrise to sunset
3. The static (bag) range is open year round to members
4. The membership 3D range is open from March 1 to October 1 depending on weather and any other unforeseen circumstances.
5. Club property starts at the static range and extends north to the pond dam. There is no admittance north of the pond dam unless authorized by a sanctioned SVA event, SVA officer, or Lee Swenson
6. Vehicles are to be parked in the designated parking lot at the top of the hill and then shooters may walk to the range. No unauthorized vehicles beyond (north) the parking lot.
7. There are no broadheads allowed on either range
8. There is no fishing in the pond
9. No one is allowed to move targets on either range without authorization
10. There is no target practice on either range on Tuesdays after 6:00 p.m. once Tuesday evening 3D shoots begin
11. There is no target practice on the 3D range during any SVA or Smoky Valley Shooting Sports sanctioned event (static range is open unless posted otherwise)
12. Shoot only from the staked positions on the 3D practice range
13. Use common sense with regard to safety and sportsman-like conduct
14. The front gate to enter the property must remain closed when Smoky Valley Shooting Sports is not open for business. Be sure to close the gate if you are the last one to leave the property!
